Just a tip of the hat to a fine player. I've been listening to Andy's videos and samples on myspace. really nice stuff. I'm gonna order a cd soon.

I wonder if we should have a separate "players" sub-forum so that we can discuss what we like about players whether they are contributors here or not. just a thought

Hey Brett, your check is in the mail LOL :D !
Seriuosly though, thanks for the compliment - coming from such an accomplished player it's really special.

Not to shoot myself in the foot, but I feel like my recorded work is lagging about 25% behind the "real thing". Anyone else struggle with this..? I'm hoping to release a solo album this year that's more on the money.
If you're interested I'd love to do a CD swap? Anyone else?!

Really like your last point too; I have to admit that I sometimes feel guilty about not paying more attention to the other self-sufficient artists on this forum. There is a growing number of players to gain inspiration from, which is a great thing for all of us.

Cheers,
Andy

I agree Brett, Andy's stuff is great, very smooth and fluid with real nice tones. I find myself replaying the youtube clips 2, 3 times, especially like "summer".

I just wanna say that a lot of people remember Andy from his playing at the mall in Adelaide and they always love it.

Mate, I've heard all sorts of people talk about your playing, from the cats at Bennets Lane, the jazz nazis who you'd think would'nt have much to say about anyone but themselves to everyday people who just love music. I think that's one of the best things about your playing that it's so musical, it just so happens you play the Stick.!

It's great how your music relates to a lot of people.
