I love Hipshot tuners: great, great quality (and good looking!) I have them on 5 basses, they are IMO better than anything else |

Beyond the exposed gear, they are smoot,h precise and light. And durable. I've tried Gotoh, Grover, Shaller and others: Hipshot IMO are the best. You might want to check out the website here: http://www.hipshotproducts.com/ |

The four different colors available from SE in Hipshots are: all black smokey gray gold with black buttons and just in, all chrome Emmett has always used mini sized tuners. Since there's less string tension than with standard guitars and basses, and a need to pack them in on the headstock, mini's work great. |

Are these backward compatible with older sticks, should we want to make the modifications ourselves? |
