Emmett, Did you have to find a custom router bit for carving the channel for the Rails or was there one off the shelf? I know it has a wider and bevelled "bottom" and narrower "top" opening, thus preventing the frets from rising up and popping out of the wood over time, but I haven't seen a bit like that before. Or did you find a fret cable that matched a particular existing routing bit? Totally off-topic topic - I was just routing some cabinet drawers this weekend and the idea popped into my head. Also - very creative idea for preventing frets from popping out of the wood, by the way. The idea never really sunk in as to why it would be preferable to standard frets until this weekend.
