Good Stuff Greg, don't think there's anything else like it, excellent to systematically explain all the pickups in one digestible chunk. I've had it on my laptop a while and got round to watching it on a plane yesterday, good way to spend a trip to work! Thanks.

Greg , as it happens I also watched your video of how to play Cyndi Laupers Time after Time on the plane.
I think these are great little movies and as someone desperately needing to add repertoire fast , I am adding that one to the practice schedule .

Hi Bruce,

If you are looking to add repertoire quickly, I suggest you check out my songbook. 14 songs all laid out for you (if that's the kind of thing you're looking to play)...

One thing I've been focusing a lot on in lessons these days is helping people develop repertoire, arrange tunes they want to play, not just tunes I want them to play. It's a lot of fun for me, and I get to hear tunes I've never heard before. People have such varied tastes.

Everything from rock, classical and jazz to gospel and prog...

Why there's no Stickup block on price list page of the official site?
Is it possible to order one separately?

The Stickup is a different size and shape than the Block modules, and is therefore not "swapable" like the PASV-4 and ACTV-2. If you have an instrument that needs a new one, just write to cambria@stick.com.

Ahh! I've just messed it up a bit. I've seen your videos, but some time ago, and now thought Villex one was not "swappable". Well, thanks anyways)

Wouldn't it make a lot of sense and a lot easier from a sourcing and manufacturing standpoint to standardize the housings in order to make them modular and swappable?

I would think that many people would love to have a second or third pick up option. Especially if there was some sort of quick release set up.
It seems that the Stick really lends itself to this kind of arrangement.

If Dan Armstrong could do it 40+ years ago, I am sure that Emmett and crew could make it happen today.

The issue is one of materials and manufacturing process. The Stickup housing is injection molded, and the molds are very expensive, The Block housings are machined.
