It's a real beauty, indeed. Black and gold is timeless and cool, but plum and gold is decidedly regal. If a 12-string railboard is ever an option, this might well be my choice of colour. :)

I want one! IN PLUM! But I'd have to sell my Graphite Grand with original PASV4 pickup to be able to afford one and the Graphite grand is not only an amazing Stick, it's also rare and at the time it was made SE's most expensive and advanced Stick. But still, the plum Railboard is beautiful and I wound imagine after playing a 12 string Grand for many years a 10 String Railboard would feel downright small and easy to navigate.

I made the decision tonight,
to cancel my railboard order until the Canadian economy recovers.
Our current exchange rate with the USA is not that great.

In the meantime,
I will enjoy playing my 37 year old vintage stick #404.
It gets played on a daily basis. I'm really having a blast with it.

That is far better looking than I expected from the name. I have this perverse desire to buy one and name it "MIPS" (+100 geek points if you can understand this compound reference).
