Comparison chart?
If one exists, can anyone point me to a comparison chart/matrix for the Stick? I've looked long and hard at the product web site but can't find anything like that - would be helpful to me to be able to see all options etc. in one place. The pricing matrix is the only thing I saw.
thanks,

Comparison chart?
I've generally found this helpful: http://stick.com/instruments. No chart but it shows all the Stick models and options.

Re: Comparison chart?
Since Sticks are so customizable, and there is no real price break for any mixture of options, I think it is pretty easy to compare piece by piece. If you want to understand certain options better, the video by Greg Howard demonstrating the pickups is pretty good.

That's something I really like about Stick Enterprises, every option (with the exception of pickups and midi) is the same price. No nitpicking or compromising of price vs looks.

Re: Comparison chart?
Thanks Andy, for saying so. I've always tried for transparency in prices with no "nickel and dime-ing" on details and extra features. The exceptions are the pickups, the MIDI option and the choice of hard of soft cases. Even the custom tunings are held to the same price on all new Stick purchases, altho we ask for a bit larger deposit.
Some exotic hardwoods are more expensive than others, also some tuners, but we keep the pricing as simple and uniform as possible. Truth be told, I spend more time setting up custom tunings for low "action" and correct intonation, but at that point public perception is my main concern - The Stick is supposed to be a "blank slate" (quoting my own words).
By that I mean the bridge, nut and pickup module are designed to accept any gauge bass or melody string at any string position, including flipped string groups, reversed groups, lefties, and in fact, any sequence of intervals, limited only by string tension at the high end and human hearing range at the low end.
Not so easy to compare models, vintages, design and production changes. In a sense, every Stick is unique with some custom hand work and customer selected combinations of features involved. We have no army issue Sticks, the Railboard model comes closest, but even this model is becoming diversified with various colors, tunings, fretboard markers and MIDI. My current run of 100 Railboards includes some with the "bass relief" offset for left handed tunings, also for bass 4ths or lowest bass at the outer edge. Some have linear markers and some no markers at all.
