Ohio players?
Are there any Stickist doing any gigging in Ohio? I drove 90 minutes to hear the closest working Stickist, Dave Brosky.

I sure hope that means you're on the eastern border of Ohio and Pennsylvania considering there's a group of players in southeast Michigan that get together semi-regularly and Bob Culbertson was just here for almost an entire week.

North east, Youngstown ,Ohio . Half way between Pittsburgh and Cleveland. I'm in the waiting period for my stick, guess I have stick fever or something and wanted to hear some live playing.

Glenn, I'm in SW Ohio but would be interested in joining in on one of your events. Keep me in mind please.

Re: Ohio players?
There's a standing get together at Oz's Music on the third Thursday of every month in the evening. Sadly I miss most of these (especially in the summer) but if I knew some guys were making a special trip, I'd try to work it out.
Steve B ... do we have a good mailing list with all of the potential participants on it? Maybe we should start sending out a monthly reminder.

If I were more skilled and funded I'd set something up to play there and visit some family at the same time. If you can wait a few months for a Stick surely you can wait a few years for me to make a trip out there, yes?

Re: Ohio players?
I live in Beaver County PA. If I gigged more I'd let you know. I just try to sit in with groups and hit open mics to keep my chops up. I don't know if that would be worth the trip for you?
