10 string bari melody tuned down 1/2 step (think octave strings in the center)
12 string DBR standard bass-so the fret relations are the same on both instruments.
I just finalized the tuning on the grand w/ Emmett on Sunday-he was curious! I got e-mail from Emmett! So he's stringing it up and I should have my new baby verrry soon! (It's #5657 in case anyone is charting thier's progress)

Using Deep MR and staying with it. Should "Deep" be a separate votable option, not just a modification? :)

Since I use deep classic, I totally agree ;)

Hi Justin and Francesco,

Love the deep tunings. Unfortunately, there are only 10 options allowed for any given survey. So this was the the best I could do, I just kept maxing it out.

In anticipation of my future 12-string, that might be less than a year away now, I'm going to tune my 10-string back to Standard tuning. I have noticed that I really don't use string 5 of the Baritone tuning and I'm starting to miss the high notes. I think I might even try some piano pieces in their correct octave, as Greg keeps suggesting. I'm going to start my 12-string with the Standard tuning so I'll get back that low string 6 someday.

Greg: Can you expand on your high bass min3? I remember at the MidWest Stick Seminar you were showing some really cool jazz chord stuff and I'm wondering if you'd go over some it again.

I have a series of sound samples that I posted online, but I don't have the text from the article. Perhaps it's boiling in the digital kettle somewhere....
If not I'll try to re-create...
