 Books!!!!!!.....Reading!!!!!!!
OK, so I saw Greg mention a book he was reading and I thought it would be great to have a reading thread.
I would recommend to keep politics out of this thread as much as possible.
So what are YOU reading, fiction, non-fiction, science fiction, biography?
I read a bit of everything I'm a big Medieval history buff so historical fiction set in those times are my guilty pleasure, I just finished "Agincourt" by Bernard Cornwell and I'm starting his "archer's tale" now, with some Sherlock Holmes short stories in between sagas.
So any good historical fiction to recommend to me?..........
and what is everyone else reading?
Brett

I usually read fiction, but I just started "In Cold Blood" by Truman Capote. His power of description is impressive.

 Re: Books!!!!!!.....Reading!!!!!!!
Most of my reading lately has been instructional, the two main topics being origami and Chapman Stick.
By the way, if you've not read Stickology by Steve Adelson, it's excellent. If nothing else, it's a lucid exposition of a lot of music theory that had just made me cross my eyes before - and valuable both generally and for specific application to the Stick.

Any Medieval hacking and Slaying??? Just Kidding Steve's book is a must read for all stick players. I'm talking about bedtime/airplane/train type reading AFTER you have put in your minimally required 3 hours per day on you instrument. Brett

Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon is a fantastic (albeit long) book about comics through the eyes of a starving student. Required reading for all you ComiCon peeps out there.

"Far and Away, a Prize Every Time" by Neil Peart. Reading this also makes me understand where some of the lyrical content of "Clockwork Angels" came from.
