Post New member from Missouri
Hi all!

Not an owner yet, but hope to be soon! Been following sticks since the 80's and finally at 50 said it's now or never! Actually was gonna get one in the 80's but instead purchased my Steinberger g4t. Picked one up and couldn't say no to it.

Been trying to get ahold of SE for 2 weeks, both by phone and email, but have not gotten any responses. Was checking to see if they had any used instruments I might be interested in before just purchasing a new one. But gonna just make the jump and order a new one and see where that goes if they don't respond soon. Biting at the bit for one! lol.

I look forward to chatting with you all and like any new person will have a ton of questions i'm sure.

Hi Jsb.
Welcome to the forum!
Funny you're not getting an answer on the phone......keep in mind the time change and business hours.....I think the phones open there at 10 am pst, but could be mistaken. I think they have some used Sticks at the moment.

cheers,
kev

I think ordering one is your best bet. eBay has very little to offer in terms of high value Chapman Sticks at this time. Truly a testament to a quality product.

Howdy jsb! Just wondering if you have had any luck yet.

Welcome to the community. And fire away with the questions. There are many great threads on most topics so far, but there is a lot to go through so I suggest just asking flat out when the question is fresh in your mind. You will likely not have to wait long for an answer. Though watch out! You may get a few conflicting opinions (every one writes IMHO, but most folks don't really mean it  ).

Good luck on your journey and happy birthday! :)

Mike

Did you e-mail Cambria @ stick.com directly, or their other web email?

I never got a response from the stick @ earthlink address, but Cambria e-mailed me back pretty quickly ( I think Monday or Tuesday after I emailed them on the weekend)

Congratulations by the way, and Happy Birthday! I'm getting mine for my 50th too.

I'm just outside of St. Louis. Had family in Overland Park years ago.

Glad I'm not the only one starting this adventure later in life! Happy birthday to you as well.

Still waiting.... Lol you will know when I get the call saying it's done! Lol
