Another newbie here, totally stickless. But not for long, one hopes. Just reading and trying to learn. Haven't performed in... carry the 3... about 45 years. Don't intend to start again now. I just want one for personal enjoyment. My wife will enjoy or go hide - that's up to her. :D

I'll have many questions, but for now more about equipment. The world of electronics has changed a lot since the mid 1970s.

Welcome to the world of the Stick! I too was totally Stick-less ,,,until just a few days ago.
But like yourself, I used my Stick-less period to study and learn about the instrument from every resource I could find, and the knowledge I gained from preliminary study help immensely in choosing and acquiring my first Stick. And the friendly folks here on "Stickist.com" have been one of the most supportive and helpful resources I have found. Welcome home!

Also, the Stick Enterprises website itself "Stick.com" has an immense amount of educational and informative videos, articles and information available to help you prepare for the arrival of your first Stick!
