I am a musician from South East England, and I am very happy to say that my railboard (#7129) has just arrived yesterday. This is pretty much a dream come true for me - I've been wanting one of these things since I was 14! I enjoy Rock, Metal, various types of Progressive music, Synthwave, Dubstep and you can find my original music right here. While I've been playing guitar for the past 10 years, the music I write can't really be performed on solo guitar - the Stick, however, is perfect for the job! So far, I am very impressed with my instrument. The setup is perfect, it's so much easier to play than any of my guitars! I honestly can't wait to be competent enough on the Stick to put it on some recordings. The learning's been going pretty well so far, I'm already able to improvise half-decently over chord changes played with my left hand. I've actually found that a lot of of my guitar vocabulary translates straight away to the melody course of the Stick, even though I'm using a different hand to play the notes. A very welcome surprise, to be sure! What's holding me back at the moment is a lack of hand independence, which I'm sure I can get over with some practice.
