Post Railboard Stand part 1
Hello everyone. :)
My name is Gabe.

I'm feel very fortunate to have purchased a Chapman Railboard.
I'll be using mine on a stand rather than the traditional belt hook.

I've been a professional luthier for the past 23 years. Running tools & sanding has taken a toll on my wrists. As I get older my eyes have changed again as well. This is why I decided to make a nice stand to mount my Railboard.

This was my first build. I could definitely refine it to be more low profile.
I made it from some aluminum cuttoffs I had in my shop, so I recycled what was on hand.

I made the initial stand from the base of a cymbal stand because of it's nice big footprint & the ball swivel from a snare stand.

It has quick release T-pegs to get it on & off the stand. I used existing holes already on the Railboard for mounting my hanger.

Railboard still fits in its case w/o any mods.
