New player in Northern IL
Hey there, everyone. My name is john and I've had my 10 string, classic tuned stick for almost a week now. I'm loving every minute of it. I'll be sure to pop in and say "hey" every now and then.

Welcome! I'm just up the road from you in Madison. It's nice to know there's another Stick player in the area.

Re: New player in Northern IL
Stoked on a new Stick This is a great place to Vulcan mindmeld with people that feel the same way you do. Technical people that love making their own, rare breed of music. Individuals that are overwhelmed with the simplicity of everyday music. Sure, we could use a little more direct sunlight or even stand going to bed before 2am. But that might get in the way of our practice time... Welcome brother Ghengis_john!

:-) Welcome, I have had mine for "twice as long" as you. 2 weeks of "Happy Tapping".

Wow! I really appreciate the warm welcomes, everybody!
I'm really looking forward to getting the hang of the Stick. I've been playing music for about 12 years now, mainly sticking to bass and guitar, and I'm sure this will be a fun and exciting new venture. I can't wait til I have the know how to play what's in my head!
