Re: New Stickist from UK
To be honest, I ordered dots as I wasn't as keen on how the linear markers looked on the railboard as standard, I've since however realised what some of you guys have done is have nicer looking linear markers on that aren't offered on stick.com unless asking which is a shame I didn't realise or research enough. I personally would have loved to have seen a few more options and examples in that area of the website. (That isn't a dig btw towards stick.com I think the guys have been great)
At this moment I'm not too fussed and originally if I'd have gone for a wooden stick I'd have probably gone for linear. I know they're easier to spot where you are but hey ho, I can always go that way on my second stick, which by all accounts will happen shortly when I decide I need to offload drum kits! 4 drum kits, 1 stick. Hardly even is it!

Re: New Stickist from UK
Might as well tell you the rest:
Smoky grey open hipshot tuners Exposed dots (thought black would be too hard to spot) Classic tuning (stab in the dark but how originally intended) Medium gauge strings (opted for middle of road)
Finished off with hard case and learning materials.....
15 year decision made to look simple! This thing has drawn me for a long time!
