I wanted to buy a Stick within a year of getting a good demo from a friend. I didn't get one for many years after that. Then it sat in a closet for a very long time. I sure wish I had kept playing, but that's not stopping me anymore. -Eric |

My decision took no time at all, though affording it has taken a large percentage of my (still young) life. Greg Howard gave a miniature seminar in my living room on a Sunday, and I placed my order the next morning. I plan to call SE next week for a status update, since my down payment money could be spent on driving lessons before winter weather becomes a factor. |

When I first found out about The Stick, I knew I would have to get one as soon as possible, which ended up being about two years later when I got a job and found a good deal on ebay |

I had to say >20 years, because I had first thought of it back in the middle-80's and knew I wanted to get one, but it took me until 2 years ago to finally do it. Otherwise, I'd have said immediately. |

I was aware of the Stick since the 80s. But as a woodwind guy, I never seriously thought about getting one. Then, last Winter, I picked one up. Has been a fun experience. |

It took me just about 10 years to get my Stick. It was about 10 years ago that I was at the NAMM show and came by the SE booth and saw someone playing it. AMAZING! Later on that day I went back to the booth to touch a stick... A bearded older man came up to me and asked if I knew how it worked and I brushed him off with a simple "yes." That man was Emmett Chapman... It has been on my mind over the years. Amazed at how bass and chord/lead can be played together. Few years later after my encounter with the Stick my band broke up (I was the bassist). I gave up on music for a while and then when I wanted to get back to music the Stick came back into my head and I did a lot of research. A couple months later I found a NS/Stick for sale on craigslist and I told my wife I'm buying myself an early Christmas present (it was Thanksgiving weekend 2012). |

U saw the stick being used in shows and got intersted. When i tried one, i was hooked and found a second hand a couple of Days later. Cheers, Bas |
