I love my Roland HandSonic. Finger drumming, hand drumming, heck, even stick drumming if you want. My drummer buddy poo-pooed it...until he got his hands (fingers) on it. Just another tool. I wanted tablas for sooo long, but practicing real ones would drive my housemates crazy. Now I got bongos (and cartoon noises) too! I know it's not what you guys are talkin' about, but it's my entry into the world of "finger" drums. |

I always love "playing" drum machines, it's a lot of fun. The Boss DR880 sounds awesome, and the pads trigger really well. And fun... |

Late to the party, as usual. The Zendrum is my primary drum kit. After years of “finger drumming” on it, I applied Greg’s hand movement technique from the Stick and heard a big improvement in my playing. I also have an Aquadrum, Wavedrum, Udu, and Keith McMillan Bop Pad - all are wonderful. Here is an example of Zendrumming: https://youtu.be/1PQqtqblpfw Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
