C U this Free Hands Friday!-dbro
Hi Gang(am Style)! I am honored and will be Gene's guest this Free Hands Friday. We moved the time back to 3pm EST, (2pm CST and 1pm for you West Coasties) to allow more access for people who have to work or who would like to take an afternoon break from playing Call of Duty in their parent's basement. Hats off to Gene for his enthusiasm and drive to make this and the Free Hands Academy happen. It's people like Gene that make a significant difference in this world, and specifically the advancement of Emmett's wonderful instrument. Gene and I already tested out our Google + which was pretty easy to set up and works great. The very creative Russell Keating will be the host for my session and has already sent kind words and ideas. I am going to cover a new technique to make you play faster than ever and which emulates flamenco and acoustic guitar styles, and cover my passion for close chord voicings and how easy the Stick makes you sound good! hopefully a lotta laughs along the way too! should be fun. So I am looking for 10 able Stickists to have a great time- contact Gene for the spot. ( not "Spot Marks the X" - great out of print Disney dog movie) hope to see you Friday, Dave Brosky

Re: C U this Free Hands Friday!-dbro
Well, tip of hat to you Dbro. We are all looking forward to the discussion with you and Russell. Don't let the good humor and wit mislead you, Dave is a seriously good player and a working one at that. I know I will be looking forward to hearing a little bit on establishing relationships and securing performance dates with local area establishments. I am also hopeful we'll get some insight on what Dave, Greg Howard and David Tipton have planned for the upcoming Pittsburgh Stick Seminar. If you'd like to be included, you can drop a reply here or at info@freehandsacademy.com. Hope you can join the discussion - cheers. ps - Bas, we'll be sure to send an invite to you at 3pm EST.

Re: C U this Free Hands Friday!-dbro
Great Show!
My many thanks to Gene for the set up and pre show details, and to Russell for hosting and asking really intelligent questions.
It was a lot of fun, I hope I got some good info out there for your suggestions, and inspire you all to play out! ( I don't mean a Dmajor scale over a C chord!)
Time went so fast and there was more to cover, but I hope you all enjoy the replay! Greg we'll just have to "deconstuct" "Mellow Yellow" at the Pittsburgh Seminar coming up April 6th with Dave Tipton! take care, Dave Brosky "the Dbro"
