Chicago based Stickist Matt Tate will be the guest on today's session of Free Hands Friday. Matt will discuss some of the work he has been doing on his most recent project which made it's debut last Friday in Chicago.

Thanks for inviting me this week, especially since I have not participated in a while. The last few days have seen me in poor health, though, so I was not even aware of the invitation until just now.

We had a great session today with Matt Tate. Matt shared some of his thoughts on the creative process, his new projects and gave us an introduction to this rig.

A great player and all around person, Matt lit up the conversation with his good humor and deep knowledge of the learning / teaching process. Comedy ensued at the ending of the session, a classic moment, Matt was right there with some outro music. A really fun session.

Why didn't anyone tell me about Matt when Jen and I went to Chicago last year? I even asked if there were any Stickists in Chicago we could go see perform!
