Post Video: Flint Blade's interview on Free Hands Friday
Here is a video of me being interviewed on Free Hands Friday:

What fun, to hang out with a bunch of Stickists in the cyber-realm!

We talked about musical approach, improvisation, my touring experience, and... my origin story.
Not a lot of yak about the Stick, specifically. More broad, general discussion.

A great time!

Thanks to Gene Perry for inviting me, and Matt Tate for hosting the show!

I am enjoying this so much after a second viewing Flint. We all love the backstory! Looking forward to new material - thanks so much for making time for us. :D

Thanks Flint for an informative view into your head. One of my favorites so far.(Ok, as I tell my kids, "I love you all the same") When you stood up the backdrop gave you a sort of peacock feel. And I think that goes with your attitude toward performing on the Stick. Projected confidence, I mean. Since watching the video, I have a new perspective on your playing and music. You seem a very genuine, "this is what you get" artist(I mean that in the best way possible). Plus as a fellow (I wont call myself a singer) lyric writer and vocal representer of said lyrics, I enjoy the added element to the music.

Hope to get you up here in Erie, which also has a great beach but no surfing, and only 2 or 3 months per year.

Mike
