Stranded 3000 kms from home for 5 months to keep job. . COVID , internal border rules etc etc . So find somewhere to play. Whilst doing a tourist road trip I discovered an open Mic in advance, in the regional town of Albany, far SW of West Australia. He was excited to hear of a Stick, so on early, pub full, big PA & a guy who knew how to use it. Extended my slot to 30 mins. Most fun I've had lately and just the antidote to " can I go home now?" Good response from the crowd & the usual " WFT" is that , with necessary beer & explanations post performance. Stick Ambassadorial duties back in full swing. With all my FX at home I picked up a couple of pedals in the Capital Perth earlier on , the Boss Tera Echo is an interesting beast , " its delay Jim but not as we know it" , will need some experimentation & to be used with caustion!
