Post polystick blues
hi,
i'm in ireland and have eventually hooked up with another stickist, he has a poly #2598 i think. it seems to be bent (has been lying round a house for 8 years or so) can it be adjusted?? if not what do we do. i do have another #128 which we can use to keep going in the meantime. However my daughters want it back asap. so any tips advice etc welcome. the bow is about 1/4 inch around 7th fret. maybe its normal just seems alot compared to my own. either way this is a call for help to maintain a friends re discovered enthusiasm.

all good things

Hi James,

If the bow is as bd as you make it sound, I believe your best course of action would be to send it to Emmett an and see about getting an adjustable truss retrofitted into it.

There's a nice writeup about this process here from our own Eric Knapp:

Your friend will get back an instrument that plays as good as any brand new Stick.

I hope that helps.
