Re: The big pedalboard discussion
I'm playing this pedalboard for a few monts now, and it has been un-changed. Completely in love with every bit of this set up. There is a couple of pedals underneath : a SFXsound SP2 preamp and a Neunaber Iconoclast (speaker sim) i use in stereo (so useful when playing on a dull amp or PA, or to record)

If not, how difficult was it to get a good balance to emphasize sufficient bass without letting the melody side get too muddy? Can you give a quick rundown of your signal chain? Also, congrats on snagging a black Eccos. I think I got the last one!

Re: The big pedalboard discussion
No, from what I know, you can't. But I don't use the Neunaber app to set up the Iconoclast, so maybe it's possible? However, I set it up to sound quite dark : the sound I aiming is rather "jazzy", I love how the bass on the Stick stays deep and the highs are a bit darkened (always found the Stick is a bit too much bright on highs). The Iconoclast helps me to get a sound of a "whole" (or "mono") instrument, while keeping the stereo image (hopes that's "clear"). The neunaber was bought to record (I tried to record the Stick direct into my Zoom H8, and honestly, it was crap ; once the Iconoclast was in the effect chain, it sounds more than decent), but I now leave it always plugged as I found it's adding something interesting eq-wise even when used with amps. Controls are quite basics, so it's a no-brainer in my point of view, but YMMV.
The signal chain is :
Stick —> SP2 preamp (underneath) —> SFXSound MX16 then :
out #1 (melody) : Jacques Trinity filter/wah (with the tiny "pump") —> Boss JB-2 —> Boss PS-6 —> Boss DD-500 —> Neunaber Iconoclast —> Keeley Eccos —> Roland JC-40 (using ins #1, that sounds awesome)
out #2 (bass) —> Boss SD-2 —> Eventide Rose —> Retrosonic Chorus —> Boss DD-500 —> Neunaber Iconoclast —> Chase Bliss Mood —> SR Technology JAM400
Having multiple delays chained in series and in parallel allows me to create quite complex evolving loops, where some lines from the first delay in the chain are looped/reduced/stretched/destroyed. Quite fun!

That Keeley Eccos looks like really cool, would love to hear if ever you want to share.

Re: The big pedalboard discussion
[quote="Olivier"]I finally cleaned things up on a nice Rockboard.
From left to right: 2 Sennheiser xsw receivers for a rock solid pristine (no interferences at all with this system) wireless connection of the Stick. These guys also have a tuner function which comes very handy (huge letter display). And of course the HX Stomp.
The rockboard has a nice front patch module for a quick and clean setup.
That stuff being power hungry, I had to get a Strymon Ojay r30 power supply. The Sennheiser receivers need 12V (500 mA) and the HX stomp 9V but at least 800 mA. Voodoo Lab has a great dedicated cable to connect 2 9V 500 mA outputs. Works great!"
Oli - That is making great use of the HX Stomp. Are those other 2 pedals triggers? I have not seen those before.

That third video might be the funniest thing I've ever with Tony in it.
And the Kemper looks very versatile and powerful for sure.

Re: The big pedalboard discussion
I have managed to shrink my rig to a small and rather portable format. For my current SG-12 concerts I'm bringing the usual two active speakers and a laptop with an Apollo Twin interface. That's a little easier to carry than the AxeFx. I play the Stick with the melody side going through a TubeScreamer and a volume pedal, then both sides go into a Strymon BigSky (L/R) and finally into the Apollo on two dedicated channels. The melody side channel input has a sub-bass filter to cut out leakage from the bass side strings. Both channels run an SSL channel strip followed by an SSL bus compressor. The two channels are a bit panned L/R. In the apollo's mixer I'm adding two send effects, a Lexicon 480L reverb, and a Chorus. Only the bass side sends a signal to the chorus. The BigSky is equipped with an expression pedal that scales three parameters so that I can instantly morph from a small room to an almost infinite "shimmer cloud", and back again while playing. I only use three patches in the BigSky, since the exp pedal has such a powerful impact on the sound. The TubeScreamer is the same one that I bought in 1980, so that build must be of outstanding quality.
I have to post an edit, because when rehearsing I changed my mind. I will now go with just the Axe-fx and a passive CV expression pedal.

Re: The big pedalboard discussion
My current setup is an SP2 into an HX Stomp with the melody side routed to a Gamechanger Audio Bigsby into a Chase Bliss Mood into a Gamechanger Audio Pedal Plus. For my gig today I have the stereo out on the HX Stomp going to a CenterPoint Spacestation Stereo Speaker with a mono out into a Phil Jones 77 Combo amp. I am working on a USB effects loop into an iPad running AUM and various Eventide Plugins.
The board is an Earthboard which has an option to run entirely on battery power.
