Thanks Gene! I definitely watched the backlog of Stick pedalboard discussions from FHF and got some tips for how to proceed. Thanks to you and the rest of the board for all the great info!

I'm still working on my 'Touch Screen' midi routing system for analog pedals.
I've collected six Niche audio control panels, four different upgrade models.
I got lucky with one unit as the part numbers have not been removed from the ICs.

One unit is missing lots of parts, so it will be the one that I disassemble for reverse engineering.
Once I have a home grown schematic in my hands, the fun begins. 8-)
I want to re-design the layout into a matrix based system
whereby anything can connect to anything.

Oh the feeling is mutual RT. I recall Dave Brosky mentioning a thing or two about the ART PowerMix, which I just picked up used on Reverb for $45 with shipping! It's going to fit nicely on the smaller board. I'm still fond of the Mix-8 and expect to use that on Trio 28.

I'm hoping to have some details on the re-do of my board. I've had so much fun with it, but I confess, I like taking apart pedalboards any bit as much as I enjoy putting them together. Since I've pulled apart my Trio 28, I'm looking to move some of the pedals to a smaller Duo 17". This will be a much smaller board - just the basics, I can hardly wait.

All the pedals have been purchased, with the exception of the Robert Keeley Super MOD Workstation. I'm saving that one for last. I need to pick up my Janglebox comp from a friend and finally, awaiting the arrival of my new sp-2 pre-amp! I'm looking to add a StepAbout to the big board later this Summer.

A Rane SP-2 AND a StepAbout? Interesting!

I finally sold my old generation StepAbout. Didn't get quite what I was hoping I'd get for it, but it's better than nothing. It's sat idle for sometime and there wasn't any reason for me to keep it around.

Getting the right tone can take time...
I finally got my lowest bass string to sound great.
It was an EQ adjustment on my main amp. :?
I was always trying to adjust it in software thru my UR44.

Yes, I dowloaded it this week end, and it sounds awesome. This unit is now so flexible it's quite indecent ;)

With all my rigs I go with this setup:

Melody side:
Low cut filter, subtle parallel compression, distortion/fuzz, volume pedal, send to global reverb.

Bass side:
Subtle parallel compression, send to global reverb.

On the global level the two chains are summed with the shared reverb output.

Started recording a demo but after I hit 15 minutes I thought this is way too long and probably too boring for most folks. Instead next time I make a video I'll post a snipet of what settings I used or something along those lines? Anyway here's the new board I made using the Gator XL aluminum board.
