Boaz, I dunno how you keep track of all that. I appreciate that amazing setup for what it can do, but holy hell I would get so distracted.

I have other effects pedals/Line 6 gear but decided to score the Line 6 Helix Amp Modeling FX Pedalboard from our pals at Sweetwater. It just seems to have everything I am looking for.

BTW I play a NS/Stick that I scored from Gary Jibilian @ Stick Enterprises a few years back, whom I know from his Detroit days.

Line6 is coming to town again this time at GC Southfield I believe in early June, for another Helix seminar. I went to the one in Canton last year, was pretty good, however they were pushing the lite version a little. Now there’s another even more stripped down version.

The last two upgrades were awesome. The multiband compressor is the closet piece of hardware I’ve found to the multipressor in Logic. If it’s not enough, use multiplies in your chain. You can give your NS a much fatter sound with it. Now there’s more of those Eventide/Strymon style chiming effects. Not bad, but I do have an H9 and there’s little comparison. My only complaint is I wish they would stop with the guitar synth patches. I can’t get anything worthwhile to use out of any of my instruments. No where close to any of the EHX synths or the Boss SY300. They did add some more bass amps. Sadly they do not offer much advice for bass or acoustic guitar and on my own I’ve found some awesome things you can do with a Helix in that respect. The L6 forum will offer more.

Not new pedals (I swear) but new amps. Serious wall of sound.
