Post Gloves and fingers
Has anyone experimented with these in the "Tap world"?

Just curious.

I haven't yet, but I might look into to them. I've been using a flexible bandage tape that protects the fingertips as well as provides some grip so my tips don't slip off the strings. Especially the thicker gauges. Thanks for bringing this up.

Post Re: Gloves and fingers
After I finished my last video "Red Clay", I noticed that my hands get a bit sweaty and that there was some annoying friction taking place between my fingers and the thinner melody strings that I noticed during solos.

So moving forward, I decided to give these gloves a try!
I'll let you all know my take on these once they arrive. I went with another company based on "Scott bass lessons" on youtube. The company I ordered from is;

Ok got my gloves a week ago, been playing with this on right hand only since then. I think its a keeper, pay attention to glove size though as instructed on the website I should have ordered "small" (to my surprise) as the size is based on finger length not overall hand size etc.. I ordered medium and washed and dried them in the clothes dryer to shrink them down one size which did work.

lol I dunno if the glove would help at all for me, I like the contact with the strings... That tactile reference is really important to me.

Cool video, I know that exercise well hahaha I have played Frank's stuff to death!

Yea its funny that something about my hands, my left is always very dry and the right seems to be more oily! I was having problems with having to constantly dry my right hand when playing. My fingers seem to get stuck on the strings many times and NO its not because of old strings. No difference between old and new for my fingers to hang up on them.

Cool to hear there's other tappers that even know about Frank Gambale's technique books! Paisano!

I have all of Frank's stuff (books and albums), I've seen a few clinics and even a couple of shows; the guy is a beast on guitar, he is one of my favourites. I miss the black wig though... I think Michaelangelo has that now... hahaha
