If you already have a small amp you like, consider getting an inverter to power it rather than buying another amp.

I bought one of these prior to the Stick Camp, it does a good job powering my SR Jam amp.

Hi Greg. Did your inverter run on fuel? Or did it hold a charge of some kind.

Mike
Hi Mike,

It's self-contained:

The Yamaha THR10 is a terrific small, battery powered amp if you understand its limitations. On the plus side, the Stick sounds fantastic using the Acoustic mic model and some deeper editing using editing software on the computer. The reverbs are so good I picked up a used Magicstomp for more reverb and delay options (the effects are very similar). The amp also doubles as a USB audio interface and a great sounding pair of stereo speakers for music playback. I use the Aux input to route my iPad (running FluxFx). It makes a great preamp for a larger system too.

On the downside, you will not get enough volume out of it for busking and the speakers do not have the full frequency range for bass. It is great for traveling.
