Post WOW, that was loud!
I've been experimenting with my Strymon Timeline delay.
I've tried various signal chain setups, but I won't do this one again.

I was trying to separate the Bass side of my Stick from the delay.
- I plugged the Bass side of my Stick to my Hi-Z left input on the UR44
- I am using the Phones 1 output to my Main Amp (as it has a volume control).

So far, it's working fine. Now for the Melody side. What to do?
- I plugged the melody side of my Stick into the right channel input of the TimeLine delay.
- I plugged the right channel output of the TimeLine delay into the right channel Line Input on the back of the UR44.
- I plugged the Main Output of the UR44 to the Hi-Z right input of the UR44.

This gives me a volume control for the Bass side, a volume control for the return of the melody side, a volume control for the Main out to the TimeLine delay and a volume control out to my Main amp via the Phones 1 control. Confused?

Everything was working fine, until I found a TimeLine delay preset that started ramping up the signal so loud that it tripped my Main Amp off. I was able to reset the Main Amp, and everything is good, but what a shocker, that was really, really, friggin LOUD. The delay sound effect got way out of control and almost took out my Main Amp, but it had built-in protection.

So, back to the drawing board... For now, I've configured the TimeLine delay in a simple series circuit.

It's a great piece of equipment and a lot of fun to use.

hahaha If you break it, you gotta fix it...

Funny stuff, I have had similar experiences in my laboratory. One time, I was trying to re-animate this monster I made with lightning and...

In my younger years, I was a bit more dangerous.
You'd be surprised at how many windows you can break
by igniting a garbage bag full of oxygen and acetylene.

HAHAHA! Nope. I'm from Grande Prairie... We love acetylene; it's especially interesting with potato guns...
