Post Line6 M9 - Suitable for Stick?
Now, the Mod duo looks VERY fascinating, and extremely handy as we know that it can process two inputs separately. At least, that seems to be what people say lol. Now, I have a Helix, and two Boss GT 100's, Line6 Pod HDpro, and an AxeFX2 as well as a ton of pedals, but I need something with a smaller footprint that is a bit easier to pack around. Especially in -40 c temperatures or on a plane...

If anyone has tried an M9 (Line6) out, I am curious to know what their experience was with the Stick, and if they/you could answer or shed any light on the following questions?

1) Can it process the two inputs separately (bass and melody respectively)
2) Can each "side" get sent to it's own output?
3) How are the tuners?
4) How did it sound through an amp, direct in, and a PA?

Thanks dudes, you are the best!

I'm not sure what model Tyler used but he's got a digital effects board for all his non distortion effects. I believe it's line6 but i could be wrong. He makes it sound epic, all while getting total separation on both sides, stereo in and out as well. You should contact him and ask!

Well, I picked an M9 up for dirt cheap, as well as a Zoom H49Pro... I thought they might come in handy. Let's see how it works...

Scott, I'm going to share a little secret with you.
You can always make your own custom amp.

I hear the M9 sounds great. From what I understand it's only a one in and one out. It may be stereo in but it's one signal chain. (I may be wrong...)

As you know... I'm a huge fan of the MOD Duo... I learned so much more about it at the NAMM show and I can't wait to do more with it. So much more is in the pipeline... not just the effects but also updates to what it will do. The hardware is designed so that when they have a CPU update you can easily do it yourself. (I CAN'T WAIT!) It's got it's limitations but with some thought in your setup you can do everything you need with this compact pedal.
(Not a paid advertisement...)

Yep, You can plug 2 things into the M9, but there is no stereo separation; One chain. Sounds good, though. And it is very compact, which is why I got it (Plus it was ridiculously cheap!)

I also have an M5 Kicking around, I might actually use that for the Bass side for a little bit. Not nearly as effective or versatile as my Boss GT100's, but way more condensed. Good enough for now.

I think that once I see some more demos of the Mod Duo I will probably jump on it...
