This does look really nice, definitely a next generation midi controller. So you've been getting it to work with the SY-300? Great to hear.

I have just recently updated my midi controller to a Disaster Area DMC-3XL gen 3 controller. I expect to have some sort of video soon. I'm using CC on the Big Sky, SY-300 and a Zoom MS-60b, the expression roller for feedback on the Big Sky and expression on the SY-300. Haven't tapped into the Multi-Jack functionality yet. Might do some tap tempo with that we'll see.

Loved seeing the interface for this pedal, very versatile.

Yes Gene -
there a Facebook page for sy-300 users
and lately one user uploaded a very helpful video on how to control the sy-300 beyond program change-bypassing the unit and controlling other parameters with MIDI #CC commands.
that was the help i was looking for and really opened my eyes regarding SY-300 w/MIDI controller.

Boaz! As of yesterday, I am back on FB and just joined the SY-300 FB group. Saw your posts - can't wait to be MIDI advanced like you! Thanks for turning me on to that video, I'm looking forward to seeing if I can dial in tap tempo on my 3XL. Can't wait!

As of last week, I took apart the pedalboard, again. Temple Audio Trio 28 V3 is on it's way. This board will boast an updated Disaster Area DMC-3XL gen 3, a custom Nose Pedal, which I have dubbed "Little Red Rocket" (the guys at Nose are doing some custom artwork with a little rocket, love me some Nose Pedal) as well as a Red Witch Distortion pedal. You can bet there will be some video as I have 2 new wireless cams. So excited.

I digress. The 3XL requires no drivers and does not use any software editor. It's just push and hold commands - still very intuitive and well made. I am currently putting together a video for the gen 2 controller and I expect it will be FHF #81, our first FHF for 2017.
