Post Octaver pedal on Tapped Bass?
Hi folks, i've really noticed that on my zoom B9 unit that the one effect I wanted the most was a nice thick octaver sound (Octave down) but not sure if its the "dynamics" of tapping and tracking issues or just the that the zoom octaver sucks? But this patch is terrible, it sputters and drops all over the place! I tested it using a pick and it sounds much better so I think it must be a tracking issue.

Has anyone else had an struggles with using an Octaver on bass side Stick or Warr etc..?

The sound I'm looking for is on this track from Special Efx.

The EHX Hogg2 Tracks great, as do all of the pitch effects in my Boss GT-100's (I use two, one for bass side and one for melody!)

Well after messing around with the zoom processor, I found that the factory preset patch for Octave actually works well, however its a unique patch that has all options turned off except for the Octave effect. In this setting it sounds great but not very versatile for sure!

When I finally get ready to do some solo gigs, I'll definitely create a standalone board for the bass side!

I love this effect, but i never used it all over the fretboard. In some tone ranges it sounds nice, in some other horrible. It depends on your setting.
I never used an octaver through a whole song - not on stick nor on Bass-guitar

The EHX Pitchfork works very well on Stick. I use it both on my 10-string and on my Stick Guitar.
