FWIW ... this is exactly how I run Ernie Ball volume pedals into the expression pedal inputs of my Rocktron MIDI foot controller. Short insert cable and voila! Furthermore, Rocktron's manual for this controller instruct you to do exactly that and they'll tell you which pedals work best with their gear. Now ... I don't know if Rocktron did anything special or if you can do this with any device that takes an expression pedal input. |
