Is there a box that I can plug the stick into with one cable that will split the bass and melody sides into two cables? So I can plug into my two amps which are on different sides of the room? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

The stick comes with a cable that splits it into bass and melody. You would just need to get a longer cable if you don't have the length. |

I considered that, but thought one cable to a box, and two cables out of the box would be easier.... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Jeez, I hate to state the obvious, but can't you just move your amplifiers? Heh |

It would totally ruin my fang shui... or at least necessitate a huge pedal steel rearrangement. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

The cable that came with my Grand is a two part Mogami cable with a stereo plug at one end (into the instrument) splits into the bass and treble 1/4 inch plugs at the other. The cable pulls apart along its whole length. I have mine pulled apart for 4 feet which gives a lot of bass amp - guitar amp separation. |

The output of the stick is very low ( your other topic) So the first input should be a preamp or an amp. Btw I tried such things with a splitbox with the railboard and got a poor signal. Worse with the stickup... as expected The act2 works with a splitbox but i never used it in my daily setup. Gerald |

Doesn't everyone? Who here doesn't like 10 strings? And pedals? It's just an inversion machine. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

A box with no volume controls or other circuitry would work without degrading the signal, so no extra buffering (like a preamp) would be needed. Basically the box would be a glorified female to female barrel adapter. You really aren't splitting or combining any signals. If you didn't need a box, you could use 2 1/4" mono female to female adapter like this one. You could even mount these say to a pedal board so the don't separate. https://www.amazon.com/Switchcraft-4-In ... B00C5B1NXK (I couldn't do plain ASCII art with spaces so I attached a jpeg ) |
