Post Boss SY 1000
Hello to all stick players with a synth space time warp. I just added a Roland GR55 to my bag of tricks only to discover that the Boss SY 1000 had just escaped from a black hole. I am curious to know if anyone on the forum has any practical experience with this alien life form...
All the best,
Antony

if i had to choose i would still go with the GR-55
because it can play "real" instrument
( i don't own the sy1000-but the sy-300)

The Sy1000 hands down... It is a monster piece of kit... and the online editor makes it just SO easy to get sounds... I found it quite intuitive and easy to learn... Very tweakable! you can't go wrong!

If there is a you tube / video demo of the sy 1000 you think is good one, I’d be interested in taking a look at it. I only ask because . 9 times out of ten demos like this are distortion / metal / shredder oriented which I’m not very interested in.
