Very interesting! Empress makes some amazing things. This isn't listed on their website yet... can't find any info. I guess I will just have to check it out at NAMM. |

While I appreciate many pedal manufacturers' mission to be as space efficient as possible for small pedalboards, I think something like this would be better suited to a box at least 50% larger to give all the buttons room to breathe. Debatable whether or not to consider this thing a pedal anyways! Also, I wonder how challenging it would be to read that tiny little status screen for long periods of time? Skeptical quibbles aside, I appreciate the forward thinking. That could be a fun tool for ambient/abstract musicians and sound designers. |
