MOD DUO Footswitch
Just ordered the 4 button programmable footswitch for the Duo.
IMHO it was the only thing holding the Duo back from being a complete effects solution and the main reason I haven't been using it more. Although there is so much you can already do with MIDI, I'm not great with it and need more lunkhead type tools.
I'll keep yas posted!
Cheers

Hey Dean. Haven’t seen a NS video from you in a while. Can you do an in-depth vid on the foot switch. I find they are helpful and of course give any on GAS

Great Idea!
I will try and get something out shortly.
I've actually been using two extension footswitches for a total of 8 additional buttons... You can daisy-chain several of these together. Or if you are a rack mount kind of guy who just wants a controller upfront and keep the effects by the amp, you can run a long cable (ethernet) to the footswitch. I was told you can do hundreds of feet!
I will try to get a video out in a couple days. Be patient... I'm super busy these days...

I am taking the slow but sure approach to this thing. I created 3 presets and assigned them to Footswitch #1 (Regular, Muff and Wah). I think eventually I will try to add in harmonizers at some point for the foolish reason of playing "To Cry You a Song". This is a fun box. Currently I set it up to mix the two sides of the Stick together for ease of use with powered speakers or open mic situations, but could easily separate them for separate amp situations. I love how it creates so many possibilities without being large, heavy, or potentially unstable like a laptop. Who knows? I might even try out some of the ones set by our fellow Stickists.

I made this video about the footswitches and assigning them to different things. It's a new video system I'm trying out. It didn't show the actual dropdowns but you will get the idea.

If I recall correctly, then the maximum length for Category 5 Ethernet cables is 328 feet…yep, Wikipedia says 100 meters!
