Looper, suggestions on which one
I previously had an RC-20xl, but like an idiot with not enough power cord space, I ran the power directly into the wall... suffice to say a power surge created the unpleasant smell off burning circuitry. That said, I'm in the market for a new looper. The Boss was decent, but it didn't impress me. Any suggestions on others, does anyone know if there is a dual channel looper which would pair well w/ the stick.

Re: Looper, suggestions on which one
The RC-20xl was my first looper, so maybe it was inexperience, but the boss unit seemed hard to get the loop in perfect time. I think that the boss pedal had too much space between the the time you press the pedal (with it's spring action), and the time that it activated the loop. With practice, i'm sure it would get better, but I think that a looper should have close to no resistance on the activation switch, that way activating the loop would be more consistent with the normal tapping of your foot to keep time. The functionality of the RC was sweet, and it was a very good unit, but for me it took 3 or 4 tries to get a perfectly timed loop. If you've ever had a boss pedal than you should know that there is some resistance to its activation, but I guess it's all what you are use to and prefer. I will definitely buy the RC 50 if I don't come across something that better suits me.

Re: Looper, suggestions on which one
All due respect ... with any looping device you just need to practice getting the timing right. The first thing any device relies on is the user's ability to time the loops. After that, they're all a little different and they have their pros and cons. My first looper was a Line6 DL4. The button "click"ed and was just a little heavy but I got used to it. When I switched to the EDP, the official EDP foot controller was incredibly soft and sensitive. Different but I got used to it. The problem with that, however, was that it was so sensitive that it provided no tactile feedback telling me that I'd actually hit it and every so often, I wouldn't realize that I hadn't until it was too late. Now I run everything through my Rocktron All Access which is back to heavy buttons that give me a good "click" when I hit them.

Re: Looper, suggestions on which one
Does anyone remember what the looper was that Imogen Heap was using in that video of "Just for Now"? From what I could tell from watching the video online, it had a pretty good sound, but she was operating it by hand, Not the best for two handed tapping.
