Helix as a standalone pedal synth -Update - a better way
Found a template patch called "Real Bass Pedals" turns out there's an effect I've not noticed before, possible from one of the latest upgrades called a "3 Note Generator". I copied one and setup four of them plus an instrument path. Added some filter and delay to make it a bit more musical when lifting off a foot and turning on another. You can set it up as one, two, or three notes per block.
Updated 4/2/20. Recently purchased a preset from Line6 (Shine on You Crazy Diamond) and discovered a far better way to do this. Use two "3-Note Generators" in line with each other on Path B, no inputs. In the first block set up your chord as Root-Fifth-Octave. Second block use the tones that defines the chord, like the major third, minor third, add a fifth, seventh, etc, and another tonic or? What's going on here is you can create a six note chord. Now - set this up with Snapshots to create up to 10 variations of chords; no need to add a block for each chord, just use snapshots to make the various chord changes. In this video, I have something like six chords programmed, not using all of them. I'm switching from snapshot to preset mode and back to turn off and on some effects, and do the chord changes:
