I'm curious about everyone's preference regarding instrument cables?I play many different instruments and I'm very particular about not only the type of strings on them, but more importantly the instrument cables. I've spent a lot of money experimenting with different brands. Some cables were very expensive such as the Asterope which was not so good. I recently bought some cables from primecables.ca and was not impressed.
So far, my favorite instrument cable is the Contour 4020 in 20 AWG. It has the best tones by far.
I tracked this cable down to a company called BRTB.

http://www.brtbcanada.comWhat is different about BRTB cables in general? All Contour signal cables regardless of type use only Oxygen Free High Conductivity copper
conductors. There are no other cable assembly manufacturing companies with as broad a product
line that can make that claim; not even the big “M”.
BRTB uses proprietary BRTB connectors in addition to being an authorized to manufacture products
using Amphenol (EP4, EP8 & Socapex), ELCO (EDAC), G&H Industries, Hubbell, Litton Systems
(VEAM), Neutrik, Switchcraft and Tourmate (Veam & Socapex compatible products).
99% of our assembled cable products are hand crafted in North America.
Every BRTB Contour cable has been designed to meet specific application requirements utilizing
proprietary technology. All products have to represent a better value to the end user than the
competition or we will not build it. Simply put, you will not find “Me too!” products in our line-up.
