Re: Stand-up Stick Stand (SUSS) - easy DIY project
Here's the stand I just put together out of a projector stand. I'm able to get the Stick nice and close to my body. Need to add bolts on 2 of the corners but it holds it just fine with them missing.

Re: Stand-up Stick Stand (SUSS) - easy DIY project
I have added some pictures that show a new wobble stopper, which reduces the motion of the Stick when on the SUSS stand (by limiting the movement of the belt-hook). This seems to work quite well and could also be helpful to the TAGG interface. It's explained in this post: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=15004&start=6Here is the wobble stopper:

Hey everyone, just checking in here.
If you build a stand like the SUSS, please post a photo(s) here so we can see your version. Share any tips, learnings or improvements!
Would love to see what others have done with this,
Cheers

And I can't stress how valuable the stand is for me. It's what makes it possible to practice.

No, I like the wobble because it allows me to move its position along with my body. Although it will stand on its own with no risk of falling over, when I'm playing I'm pushing it out from its resting position with my thumbs on the back.

stainless steel welded base - thick copper arm. custom made and heavy (50 pounds) but worth the effort. can't knock it over and looks killer on stage.
