Let's talk effects pedals
I've been assembling a pedal board for my stick and would love to hear about y'all's rigs! IMO, a Stick sounds very similar to a clavinet, so I've been researching the kind of pedals those guys use. So far I've seen they like to use Wah pedals, Envelope filters, and Phasers. I personally love the sound of a Stick thru a Chorus pedal, so I plan on picking up this Juno 60-esque sounding one. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail ... lsrc=aw.ds Have y'all had better results using bass pedals over guitar pedals?
Thanks

With the Stick's stereo output, wouldn't it make sense to use both bass and guitar pedals?

So far, I've come up with two pedals for the melody side: One Booster (like switching between playing rhythm and melody in the band) and one Chorus pedal. I'm quite inexperienced in this stuff so I'll follow this thread in order to get some ideas. Was thinking of having a compressor for the bass side but don't really know all that much about this stuff.

I'm all about playing in mono so the idea of using 2 different rigs for bass and melody is extreme to me.

I can see this thread going for some time...
You know, the Stick has a dual mono out, which is not necessarily stereo. I don't normally make a fuss over it, but Emmett mentioned that to me once lol. I like to run the bass side mono and the melody side in stereo. I have not been running any effects on my left hand and it's liberating so far (I'd be lying if I didn't at least mention that the draw of a compressor is tempting).
Being a kid in the 80's, I burned out a little on chorus - ce-3 was my second pedal, right after a ProCo Rat, but I do still enjoy it from time to time. I have been drawn to tremolo these days, like a surfy old Princeton amp.
I do like the Keeley Hydra which is an impressive dual function pedal offering a very customizable platform (no doubt taking a note from Alexander Pedals) and a sweet sounding tremolo.
I also recently updated my Alexander Space Race to a Space Force pedal, which supports full stereo. The Leap series is the next evolution of pedals that allow a much more granular control of effect parameters. Anne Sulikowski does a fun take on it I'm still reading the manual on this one, very promising.
I'll venture over to Boaz's thread to chat about the Source Audio Collider!
