Post Tuners
what do you use to tune your stick? Does it show octaves? Is it useable on other instruments, like acoustic guitar, etc?
And why do you like it?
Inexpensive definitely a plus, but if the best is not, ahh well!
Thank you

Not inexpensive, but the Peterson Strobo Stomp HD is a super bit of kit - and yes it does provide an option to show the octave.

The only thing is it’s annoying with a dual mono instrument like the stick , no ? So while the clip on ones are not as nice , you don’t have an issue with dealing with two channels

Ah, well, it's that's no longer an issue for me as since I extended my 'melody side' across the 'gap' I've taken to playing mono... ;)

There are at least a few Stickists who play mono with classic tunings, e.g. Nathen Aswell (https://www.nathenaswell.com/).

Depending on the kit on a pedal board there are probably ways of combining two dry feeds in to the Peterson? Before going mono I used to mainly use the tuner in my Helix Lite (set to strob mode). That monitors both channels, but sadly doen't show octaves.

The MOD Duo-X tuner does show octaves, and can handle two inputs but only one at a time (a button press is needed to switch channels - as well as several presses to get into the tuner in the first place).
