Line 6 AX2 212 and Chapman Stick - good combination
I would like to share a great Combo Amp with effects for Chapman Stick. The Line 6 AX2 212. It's been around since at least 1999 (not sure when it originally came out). This amp does a great job with full frequency ranges. Granted, a 2x12 can only do so much for low end moving, but it does a great job. The effects are very good and very programmable. So if you are down by today's lack of programmability, this is a tweaker's paradise. They can use a Line 6 Pedal Board or pedals directly into the amp for various parameters. So the big question.."How does it sound?" I think it does a great job for leads, rhythm, bass, swells, and poly-melodies. You can find them used with pedal boards. Check one out. It is an efficient and effective way to pack some power in a portable box. The direct outs work well for recording and live applications. Did I mention it's in stereo?
