Did you acquire this locally (in Australia) or direct from the UK manufacturers? Looks like a great little unit and way cheaper (albeit more limited) than the StepAbout.

I tend to forget such tech levels but when reading this I checked to compare the audio interface I'm using for my laptop rig, a RME Fireface 400 that I think sounds superb, and its manual says the RME's two instrument inputs has an impedance of 470 kOhm (adjustable level)
