Post Hey! Have you heard about the Lap Dawg?
No? Well read on...

I recently received a great Stick accessory in the mail. It's called a "Lap Dawg". It's an incredibly easy to mount, foldable, lightweight, player adjustable, well constructed and aesthetically pleasingly designed apparatus for those who enjoy their Stick playing from the seated position.

And, frankly, who doesn't? ;)

The Stick balances perfectly, from my experience, eliminating the need for both belt and shoulder strap while seated. If you stand, the Stick will fall to the ground, but you knew that, right?

With the Lap Dawg installed (5 minutes), pick up the Stick, unfold the arms and you're ready to go. Kinda like that relaxed acoustic guitar experience.

Mike Johnstone (CaptainStrings) has done a great job with this. So good, I hear a certain Enterprise might be adding it to it's accessories list.

Get one.

You can request one from Cambria right now if you do not want to wait for the list to be updated.

FWIW, I purchased one of these Lap Dawgs early on... it works great. End of story.

I have lap dawgs on each of my 3 sticks. I always play in a sitting position. This device is great!

Recent improvements to the Dawg have made it even more appealing. Those that I am aware of include extended lap arms, moveable padding on the arms and a sexy black powder coating that make it indescernible from the belt hook itself.

Given the time it saves and the convenience it affords, it has become mandatory on all my Sticks and future Sticks.
