Damn you all are some gangsters. Sometimes I rig up the weirdest stuff on 10 string. Usually I sit on floor but if for whatever reason I happen to be in a chair I use like foam and velcro and stuff haha. Maybe a drumstick or rod with padding around it I've done that a billion times and its good. But that aint gangster ballin so...

I love mine because it has this huge advantage: I can adapt it to any angle and lock it so the stick in fixed in one position were it doesn't move. Between the lap bar and the adjustable belt hook, I managed to work out the best confortable position for me.

I like the idea of the Lap Dawg being compact and mounted on the Stick, but I will say that the wide pcs of the DIY solution in this thread add a lot of stability.
