Re: AUDACITY!
I am not familiar with the ZOOM H2, but it looks like a hardware recorder. Audacity is a software recorder. I don't see why you would need 2 recorders. What did you want to use Audacity for?
I have used Audacity. It is good but not a full blown DAW. It is good for making a quick recording and doing overdubs are easy. It isn't good for applying effects as you can only sample them on a small "sound sample" and if you like it apply it to the music. If you know what you want, that's ok, but if you want to tweak an effect before applying it isn't very convenient.
Audacity is free so it can't hurt to try it. I've since moved to Reaper. It isn't free but is a full blown DAW at a good price.

Re: AUDACITY!
Audacity is knows to be a good sample editing software.
I own a first generation Zoom H4 and out of curiosity tried it out as audio interface for a computer. It sucked for audio interface. However, my H4 excels as a handy stereo recorder with its two built-in microphones. I use to record on the H4 and then connect it by USB to import the 16-44.1 WAVE file to a computer; a comfy workflow.

Re: AUDACITY!
Yes you can dump what you have recorded to a flash drive in both Audacity and Reaper. The question is, what are you going to do with it? You can save the raw Audacity or Reaper files, but only those programs can process them so wherever you are copying them needs those programs available. You can also export them (say as mp3) and listen to them anywhere.

Re: AUDACITY!
Audacity is not a resource hog: a laptop with 8GB of RAM will not have any problems.
