Post Chapman Stick #1853 for sale - $1800 (£1150)
Hi everyone,

I've got a 10-string Chapman Stick that needs taking off my hands - great piece of gear, but I've amassed too many instruments and it needs to go.

Lots of pictures at:
http://imgur.com/a/bRO3e#2

Specs:
Rosewood Stick no. 1853
Pearl dot fretboard inlays

Black and chrome tuners
Adjustable truss rod
Fully adjustable bridge
Beautiful sounding ACTV-2 EMG 'The Block' pickup with volume and tone for both the bass side and the treble side.

Included with the Stick will be:
High quality hard case
Lightweight gig bag
Shoulder strap
Stereo cable
Old copy of Free Hands
I'll even throw in a Tom Griesgraber CD

The stick is in great condition and has mostly been used for studio work. It will be fully set up by a professional luthier so it will be plug in and play when you get it.

This package would retail at $2700 (£1700). I'm looking for $1800 (£1150).

Shipping is free within the UK, but I will happily ship worldwide at cost.

Hi Olivier,

Sorry if what I wrote was misleading.

Stick ($2300) + hardcase ($250) + softcase ($120) = $2670 (I rounded up)

I'll be more explicit. I'm looking for around $2000.

Hi Tristan,

When I bought it, the bridge was adjusted further back leaving space for a midi pickup. I've never used it, and when I got it set up the luthier moved them forward. If I've made a mistake here then I'm sorry - I can have a midi channel cut for the buyer if it's required at no extra cost.

:? I am not sure if Emmett is making the channel cuts different these days but on my Stick the "channel"
for the Midi pickup is on a higher plane, or said differently the groove for the pickup is
above or higher than the slot for the bridge so it would be impossible to move the bridge forward. I would also think that if the bridge was moved forward that much it would
require serious intonation adjustment :|

Just a little confusing to me I think that the Stick looks really nice :)

Sorry everyone - looks like the bridge wasn't midi compatible. I've removed that from the original post.

Thanks Globalsoul - it is a nice instrument, but it doesn't get used as much as I'd like anymore. PM me if you would like to make an offer.
