Does the Jam 150 work more like a PA or does it color the sound? I've played through one very briefly in the past and remember really liking the sound. It was a long time ago and I plugged directly into it. Since then I've changed my setup and I get my sounds through the pedalboard (including amp/cab sims) and want to play through something that reproduces my sound so I play through my studio monitors or a PA speaker. I may consider the Jam 150 to replace my current PA speakers since they take up so much space in my room... The built in mixer is a plus since I play with a backing track... |

I used a Schertler UNICO on rehearsals awhile ago. Not for Stick but for two acoustic guitars and vox. Never heard of this brand before. The UNICO is basically a 5 channel, 250 watt version of the Jam 150 of what I understand. I was impressed way beyond what can be described as being impressed..... That thing sounded just great and was loud enough to overpower drums, electric guitars etc.... Again, did not use it with the Stick but with two acoustic guitars and vox..... But it this thing sounds anywhere near the UNICO then I´d say that it´s a very good buy. |
