SOLD - shipped and received lol

All right, the time has come to part with this instrument - nothing to do with it, it's all me. It's a killer 12 string tapping machine that really deserves to be in a good home played and loved by someone who can give it the time it deserves! I did my best to learn this, but it never really stuck... At some point in the future perhaps I will take another swing at it, but for now - it needs to be played! Price is firm.

12 str Wenge tapping instrument #6667(In impeccable condition) PASV4 pickups
Roland GK3 midi pickup (on melody side)
    Shoulder strap
    Adustment Tools
    SKB Hardshell Case
2 sets of strings - 12 str classic mediums, and 12 str Mirrored 4ths mediums
    Lap Dawg
Tagg Interface (lol can't have my cymbal stand, though!)

Price = 4,500usd, buyer pays shipping.
FYI I live in Grande Prairie, AB Canada

I agree with what Rob said. I hope you are selling this for financial reasons. I’ve met several great guitar players like yourself that gave up on the Stick because they could not get to the level of playing the Stick to match what they’ve accomplished on a guitar. One of the best inspirations I’ve learned is to play live at open mics. You don’t have to play at the level of the Stick masters, just perform something you can handle and make it sound good. Most of the audience has never seen a Stick before, and are quite fascinated to see one live.

Whenever I get frustrated with practicing a Stick, I just put it down and grab a guitar or bass, then come back later. Don’t burn yourself out.

wow - this is like one of the best things I have ever read from an inspiration standpoint.

I have - lets see, 4 sticks, with a 5th one on the way, and after that a 6th one - which I am hoping will be an original 34in scale Grand Stick with the 5 + 7 tuning, but seriously I don't even think I could play Mary Had A Little Lamb or any kind of song on the Stick, because of both I have no desire to along with from a technical standpoint I am not a learned musician.

But for me, the Stick is the one instrument that makes me feel alive and that's all that matters - not what others think about what I can or can't actually do with it.

Good luck with the sale, Jayesskerr... for some reason I thought you lived in Boston - are you in the Airforce ??

SteveS, you haven't heard me yet !!
Last gig I did, with a guitar player who studied in NYC during the mid 1980s at one of the early Guitarcraft seminars, was in a pub in Bay Ridge Brooklyn called The Three Jolly Pigeons, back I would say 15 years ago at least.

We completely emptied the place out including the bar tender within 15 seconds [a new world record for me] because we dared to do a short piece of music which was completely improvised in two completely different time signatures at the same time.

I can't even begin to imagine what playing a Grand Stick must be like, so many options with tunings, etc... and this instrument for sale here is truly a magnificent example of what can be done on the construction and design end of these marvelous creations....

I hope it finds a good home.
